Software Engineer III
Position Description:
The position of Software Engineer III requires application design and programming expertise. The engineer is also responsible for adherence to the Quality System at H&A Scientific, Inc. to insure compliance with coding convention guidelines, change control procedures, and other documented procedures. Expertise is required in C#, C++, and SQL.
Other Responsibilities:
This position also includes other duties as assigned.
Position Description:
The position of Software Engineer III requires application design and programming expertise. The engineer is also responsible for adherence to the Quality System at H&A Scientific, Inc. to insure compliance with coding convention guidelines, change control procedures, and other documented procedures. Other Responsibilities:
- 1 Develop all aspects of software including database design, instrument control, data analysis, and user interface
- 2 Technical support for responsible projects and logging of complaints into Knowledge Base
- 3 Troubleshooting on an as needed basis for all H&A Scientific, Inc. applications
- 4 Work within our Project Management system to keep everyone informed (including customers, if applicable) informed of progress on projects
- 5 Assistance with production of User, Functional, and Design Requirements
- 6 Assistance in User Manual preparation
- 7 Assistance in quote preparation
- 8 Keep up-to-date and accurate timesheets
- 9 Speak, write, and read technical and non-technical information effectively
- 10 Work effectively in unstructured and structured environments
- 11 Demonstrate ability to multi-task and respond to a variety of interpersonal tasks and requests
- 12 Work within a team of professionals in a way that supports a positive outcome for customers

Software Validation Engineer III
Position Description:
The position of Software Validation Engineer III is responsible for tasks in the testing phases of the Software Development Life Cycle of product development, including the technical writing of Software Quality Assurance testing documents. They will also assist developers in the writing of software testing documentation according to FDA guidelines. Ensuring proper Development practices, validation, and release in order to assure the quality of software is essential. Our Standard Operating Procedures will guide the creation of such documents. The documents will detail the actions a tester must execute to prove that the software under test is functioning correctly.
